报告摘要  Abstract

In this talk I would like to report recent works regarding rigidity, uniqueness and compactness of asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein manifolds (AHE in short). The study of AHE attracts great attention from mathematicians as well as theoretic physicists, particularly after the introduction of AdS/CFT correspondence in theory of quantum gravity. Mathematically, the study of AHE has become one of the main topics in conformal geometry in the spirit of AdS/CFT correspondence and the holographic principle in general. The main results I would like to report in this talk are two recent works: one is the joint work with Gang Li and Yuguang Shi on sharp volume comparison theorem and its consequences; the other is the joint work with Yuxin Ge and Alice Chang on the compactness and uniqueness in dimension 4.
