报告摘要  Abstract

In this talk, we consider matrix spectra localization in a class of convex regions defined in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (so-called LMI regions). These regions include half-planes, strips, disks, conic regions as well as various their intersections. Generalizations of different types of matrix stability (diagonal stability, multiplicative and additive D-stability) are introduced, with respect to a given LMI region. To illustrate the ways of applications of the given content, we study the following problems:

  • A pole placement problem for a system with uncertainties;
  • A classical robust problem and special cases of the uncertainty structure;
  • For nonlinear systems, the existence of special classes of quadratic Lyapunov functions.
