Resurgence theory and saddle-node vector fields

报告摘要  Abstract

Resurgence theory was developed by J.Ecalle in the 1980s to deal with
 divergent series originating from dynamical system problems and is now
 used in various fields (e.g. in mathematical physics, in relation with
 WKB expansions, string theory and quantum field theory, or in
 Kontsevich's work on quantization). Based on Borel-Laplace summation,
 Resurgence theory defines interesting subalgebras of the space of formal
 series, in which the so-called alien derivations act; using these
 operators, one is naturally led to go from series to transseries to
 measure resummation ambiguities. I'll illustrate the basic definitions
 and facts on the classical example of local analytic vector fields with
a singularity of saddle-node type.
