报告摘要  Abstract
A real square matrix A is called completely positive} (cp) if it can be factorized as A=BB^T where B is an elementwise nonnegative matrix. The smallest possible number of columns of B in such a factorization is called the cprank of A. A is called bcp if B is a (0,1) matrix. The corresponding cprank is called {0,1}-rank of A and is denoted by rank_{0,1} A. The theory of bcp matrices is closely related to problems of block designs. The talk will consist of three parts. First I will introduce the background and survey the main results on cp matrices and on the cprank. In the second part I will describe some new results on 5\times 5 cp matrices and on the bcp matrices. In the last part I will present some open problems.
