Combinatorics Seminar 2019

In the end of the Drei-Groschen Film by Bertolt Brecht et al. from 1931, the criminals led by Mackie Messer decide to found their own bank because, as Mackie explains to them: "What is robbing a bank against running a bank". So, I often referred to the following variant of this statement: "What is proving a conjecture against stating one."

One way to understand a person might be to discover that person's Walter Mitty fantasies.
