Title: On pronormal subgroups of finite groups
Some problems of combinatorics and permutation group theory were solved in terms of pronormality. In this talk we discuss the problem of description of some pronormal subgroups in finite groups.

Natalia Maslova is a rising star in group theory. In 2011, she obtained her PhD degree in Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics after her two years' study there, and then, in 2012, she won the Competition of young scientists of Governor of Sverdlovsk region. Since 2014, she has been a senior researcher of Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics. She has completed the classification of maximal subgroups of odd index in finite simple groups, which was in a sense obtained by M. Liebeck and J. Saxland, independently, by W. Kantor. She is also famous for her series of joint work with Danila Revin, Anatoly Kondrat'ev, and Wenbin Guo that described all the finite simple groups for which subgroups of odd index are pronormal and Sylow 2-subgroups contain their centralizers in the group.
