April 21 -- 27, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
We are organizing a combinatorics week at Shanghai Jiao Tong University during April 21 - 27, 2015. Our talk schedule will not be too crowded, in order to have ample time for discussions among the participants. Besides usual conference talks, we will also arrange some talks as public lectures and introductory short courses.
This event basically consists of two tracks, track A from April 21 morning to 24 noon and track B from April 24 noon to 27. The main topic of track A is the interplay between design theory and numerical analysis with special emphasis on spherical designs and approximations of integrals on the sphere. Our track B will focus on the concept of discrete dynamical system, emphasizing it as a unifying language and viewpoint for a wide spectrum of mathematics and its applications.
Like all scientific events organizers, we intend to bring together various kinds of persons for a fruitful exchange of ideas and we invite folks who have something cool to say to just come and say it. We encourage undergraduate students join us for a week of fun.
If you are interested in giving a talk or joining us without giving any formal planned talk, please contact Eiichi Bannai (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Yaokun Wu (email@example.com). We will also welcome some talks which are not so closely related to the theme of our two tracks. Announcements for related talks around the workshop period can be found at our Combinatorics Seminar website.
We reserve seminar room No. 4 in Building 3 of the campus hotel for free discussions in the following slots:
April 21, 19:00 - 23:00; April 22, 13:00 - 17:00; April 23, 15:00 - 23:00; April 25, 19:00 - 23:00; April 26, 19:00 - 23:00; April 27, 15:00 - 23:00
